Welcome to ORWEF

“The Oregon Water Education Foundation (ORWEF) is dedicated to the promotion and education of water quality professionals.” The Oregon Water Education Foundation Committee is made up of volunteers that want to share their love of Water and Environmental technologies with whoever will listen. Technology is always changing and the need for education in this ever growing field of study demands growth too. A large number of us working with the environment want to pass down our knowledge to others. We want to encourage anyone that shares our interest in this field of study. Most of us in a water technology field need continuing education credits to maintain our water, wastewater, or collections certifications. Even without the need of sustaining our certificate requirements we would need to keep up with new technologies to be of value to our employers. Most of our employers our happy to pay for this type of continuing education, which in turn pays for scholarships for future students entering water and environmental technology fields.

Technology is always changing!

The need for education in this ever growing field of study demands growth too.
